3.5 starsI guess the best explanation for my rating would be that I didn't quite get the hype over this series, but I did like this second book more than the first. I'm still not loving Mac's character but she has grown a little from the first and the whining has also toned down, so for that, I've upped my rating from the first book. The main reason why I did like this book was probably the world building and all the fae-lore that we were introduced to and further explored in Bloodfever. Of course, sexy male characters like the famous Barrons and V'lane kept things interesting as well. Will be picking up the third book soon and praying that I like it a lot more!
