Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs Do NOT be deceived by all the seemingly creepy photographs.Or rather, if you must, you could really just flip through the book just to see the photographs because honestly, I wished I did just that. In fact, the one star rating goes to the photos, which some of them bear little relevance to the story itself. I was honestly expecting something creepy but instead the story itself was pretty boring and it moved rather slowly too. The writing isn't up my alley either and the protagonist is supposedly a teenager but his voice definitely comes off to be rather juvenile. I doubt that I will be checking out the sequel.
